When a Bottle is a Treasure – Team Building

In vino veritas , or as a drunk once said, the truth lies at the bottom. And it seems that with the onset of sobriety, all the last grains of my creativity have disappeared without a trace. So, let’s try to put the puzzle together and summarize our previous team building in at least a couple of sentences. By our, I mean the second-floor department , and by a couple of sentences, I definitely mean more than a couple – a couple is two, right?

Year after year articl e after article

I hope I won’t have to write about our team building as a reward for our hard work, sweet fruits for a large share of our constant efforts, or a temporary replacement for coffee intoxication with grape derivatives. And yet, I write about it anyway. I have to. Now that you know, remember, I won’t mention it anymore. Where? Where did we go this year? A little further, albeit, but with fewer cars; therefore, our carbon footprint remained unchanged.

Orava We went to Orava

To Orava under the motto – less tourism and more… actually just less tourism. The offer from Orava Háj came to us automatically by e-mail, thanks to the power of the Internet. We looked at it, took a good look, and didn’t have to look any further. The organizer of the event this year was Zuzka, who gave it her all. She organized everything, created a questionnaire for choosing activities, and learned what blood, sweat and tears are. After all, she couldn’t be alone. Well, man proposes, God disposes!

Dry wine also contains sugar

Departure at eight o’clock. Then a stop in Levoca for VOSK: Delicious and Very Sweet Croissants, or an Important Discussion of the Situation in the Collective. It’s up to you. Now think how hard it was for me to come up with replacements for the words used in the Slovak article. Eh… but that’s on me and me alone. Let’s get down to business – the trip started off well; the journey went without any GPS problems, and by the end our stomachs were growling. After all, it was already twelve o’clock and we hadn’t had lunch yet. After that, everything was quickly sorted out, and although I’d like to mention the wonderful welcome drink, I won’t. Go there and try it for yourself.

Playfully on Orava

Dinner was just the thing for our wine-parched throats. After all, any food is good for you after drinking, #stillhungry. We munched on all the goodies and almost forgot about our fish catches. Well, not quite, and here we are, Mr. Chef. And add some grilled vegetables. Hoping there was no hook left, we still had a desperate craving for them. And what about that last fish that no longer had room in our stomachs? Did they pack it for us? No. Do you think they ate it in the kitchen while it was still warm? Maybe. Well, I hope they didn’t throw it away.
